How To Measure Your Stump
Locate Stump
Find any and all stumps that you wish to have removed.
Clean Area
Remove any grass or dirt that is covering the stump so that you can better measure the stump.
Measure
Using a tape measure you will measure the stump's diameter. Measure straight across the top of the stump at its widest point, in inches, making sure to include any roots.
Check Height
Check to see if your tree stump is taller than 6 inches. If it is we may have to use a chainsaw to cut it closer to the ground.
